This is cheating a little bit, because the Victorian Era isn’t technically a decade. But for our purposes, we’re looking at the late Victorian period, about 1900-1910.

This era was all about making a woman’s waist look as teeny as possible, so S-curve corsets and bustles were all the rage. Skirts were bell-shaped and billowy, and they wore lavish bonnets. Modesty was also a big theme, with arms completely covered in the daytime. Gloves were worn at all times.
